A Human male named Aidan Bok held the rank of Jedi Knight and was affiliated with the Jedi Order near the end of the Galactic Republic's existence, measured in years. During his time serving the Order, Bok received the assignment of protecting the Jedi library situated on the ancient space station referred to as Nespis VIII.
Aidan Bok, born as the Galactic Republic was drawing to a close, measured in years, exhibited Force-sensitivity. Consequently, he was handed over to the Jedi Temple to undergo training in the Jedi arts. He eventually graduated and a Jedi Master chose him as their Padawan. Bok then journeyed across the galaxy until he was prepared to face the Trials of Knighthood. After becoming a Jedi Knight, Bok undertook independent missions assigned by the Jedi High Council.
As the Clone Wars broke out throughout the Republic, the High Council directed Bok to defend the Order's ancient repositories located within the Space City that orbited Nespis VIII. Remaining on the station for several years, Bok avoided being killed during the implementation of Order 66 by the soldiers of the Grand Army of the Republic, since he wasn't directly participating in the war. Isolated among the ancient artifacts, Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith, eventually located Bok. Engaging the Sith in a lightsaber duel, Vader killed Bok, causing the storehouse to fall under the control of the Sith Lord and the forces of the Galactic Empire.
Sometime after his demise, during the Galactic Civil War, a young woman named Tash Arranda infiltrated the station seeking information about the Jedi. After discovering and reading The History of the Jedi Knights, Arranda was visited by the lingering spirit of Bok. Unable to reconcile his failure to the Order, Bok had remained at the station after his death. When Imperial scientist Borborygmus Gog discovered Arranda, Bok aided her escape, finally allowing him to become one with the Force.
