Borborygmus Gog

Borborygmus Gog, a Shi'ido scientist, was appointed by Emperor Palpatine to be the head of Project Starscream.

Biography

During his formative years, Gog, alongside Mammon Hoole, was a student at the Chandrilan Academy of Sciences. Later, both were employed by the Galactic Republic with the aim of developing countermeasures against the bioweapons used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.

Gog and Hoole, relocated to labs on the planet Kiva following the Jedi Rebellion, experimented with manipulating life and death. Hoole grew concerned upon discovering that their experiments were depleting Kiva's life force. Gog, however, chose to proceed regardless. Ultimately, these experiments eradicated all life on the planet, including the Kivans. The Kiva experiments were deemed unsuccessful, a failure Gog attributed to Hoole. Subsequently, Gog secretly continued Project Starscream. Unfortunately for Gog, his former colleague consistently appeared to thwart his endeavors. Gog researched the Force and invented the "Essence Stealer," a device designed to extract life essences and store them within a crystal matrix, enabling their study. Gog intended to extract the life-essence of a Jedi by posting legends of Jedi Knights under the pseudonym ForceFlow, with the goal of attracting Force-sensitive individuals to the space station, Nespis VIII. Tash Arranda, Mammon Hoole's niece, was one such individual.

Although presumed to have died from a fall on Nespis VIII, Gog resurfaced on Kiva, seeking to capture Hoole and regain control of Project Starscream. Gog activated the biological weapon Eppon, but it turned against him, necessitating its destruction. Gog met his end at the hands of the Kivans' vengeful wraiths, after his responsibility for their deaths was revealed.
