The original inhabitants of the world Kiva were the Kivans. These people were generally regarded as peaceful, with a reputation as skilled artists and architects. The extinction of life on Kiva, caused by a scientific experiment, resulted in their existence as incorporeal specters. They manifested as shadowy figures distinguished by their red eyes. Initially, they held Mammon Hoole, a scientist who participated in the experiment, accountable for their demise and attempted to eliminate him upon his arrival on the planet years afterward. However, they subsequently discovered that Borborygmus Gog, Hoole's colleague and the architect of Project Starscream, bore the true responsibility. Gathering together, the Kivan wraiths, along with Gog, disappeared completely. It also seemed that ionic weaponry could harm them.
