An Airgun refers to an airship model that the opposing sides, Open and Closed, employed throughout the Open-Closed war. The Open primarily utilized Airguns, which featured a large, floating airbag with a gondola hanging below, supported by ropes and cords. In 29 BBY, during the mission to Carnelion IV, Anakin Skywalker, a talented mechanic and Jedi Padawan, constructed his own airgun by combining a salvaged Closed gondola with an Open airbag from a destroyed airship.
