Alfris Sotin was a smuggler and slaver who belonged to the male Fiumarian species. Sotin presented the Spice Runners of Kijimi with an offer while on Ankot Station, but he ultimately betrayed them, turning them over to the Guavian Death Gang.
The first appearance of Alfris Sotin was in the canon young-adult novel Poe Dameron: Free Fall, which Alex Segura wrote. Disney–Lucasfilm Press released it on August 4, 2020. The comic book one-shot Return of the Jedi – The Rebellion 1 later featured the Fiumarian. Segura wrote it, Matt Horak, Brent Peeples, and Rafael Pimentel provided the illustrations, and Marvel Comics published it on July 19, 2023.
