The All Terrain Kashyyyk Transport (AT-KT), which was also referred to as the AT-ST ("Hunter") when deployed on different planets, represented a variation of the All Terrain Scout Transport.
This walker saw action on the world of Kashyyyk, with the purpose of suppressing the ongoing Wookiee uprising more efficiently. They fought in conjunction with AT-AP artillery units during destructive assaults against the expansive Wookiee settlements built within the trees.
Ozzik Sturn, an Imperial captain stationed on Kashyyyk tasked with "protecting" (in reality, ensnaring) Princess Leia Organa to prevent Bail Organa from rebelling against the Empire, and who was also a passionate hunter, utilized a personally customized AT-KT walker while in command of the Imperial installation on the Wookiee's native planet. Galen Marek eliminated him and wrecked the walker during his mission to the jungle planet.
