Allan Kausch

Allan Kausch is employed by Lucasfilm and holds the position of editor for numerous Star Wars reference books and guides. Furthermore, he worked as the continuity editor for both the Star Wars Galaxy Magazine and Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace The Official Souvenir Magazine.

Sometime around 1994, Kausch developed a visual representation of the Star Wars timeline. This timeline consisted of a horizontal line that marked major events throughout the saga. It was presented in the style of a scroll, and when fully unfurled, it measured three feet in length.

He played a role in the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire multimedia project, where he ensured consistency of events across all media formats. He created a timeline/flowchart that illustrated the events and actions of each character, which served as a guide for everyone involved in the project. Kausch also made the decision to include a character from Jabba's Palace in the narrative, who was later developed into Wrenga Jixton. Additionally, he sent a memo to concept artist Doug Chiang outlining initial concepts for the starships of the new protagonists, Dash Rendar and Xizor (which later became the Outrider and the Virago). Furthermore, he determined the flat design of the _IG-2000's wings.
