The non-canonical short story "An Apology" was released by Suvudu, Random House's genre website, specifically for April Fools' Day. Timothy Zahn is the author of this piece. From an in-universe, first-person point of view, the narrative is presented as an epilogue to the Fate of the Jedi book series, and is supposedly penned by Luuke Skywalker, the clone of Luke Skywalker.
