Another Hopetown, situated on the world of Ennth, met its end due to a series of cataclysmic events. The colony was obliterated when the planet suffered from its recurring eight-year cycle of groundquakes, tidal waves, and volcanic eruptions. An initial groundquake struck the settlement, causing the collapse of numerous homes and structures. Shortly thereafter, a far more powerful groundquake tore through the area, creating a massive chasm and leveling what remained of the town. This second, more devastating groundquake resulted in the death of a local resident named Shinnan.
