Ap'lek's Mandalorian executioner vibro-ax

The antiquated Mandalorian executioner vibro-ax of Ap'lek was the favored weapon of Ap'lek, a Knight of Ren, and was a type of Mandalorian executioner's vibro-ax. During the battle of Exegol on Exegol, Ap'lek wielded the vibro-ax against Ben Solo; however, it proved ineffective, and Ap'lek met his demise at the hands of his previous commander.

Description

Ap'lek favored his vibro-ax.

This Mandalorian executioner's vibro-ax, crafted in ancient times, possessed ultrasonic transmission plates to amplify its cutting capabilities, transforming the axe into a powerful vibro-ax. Constructed from beskar, the weapon's Mandalorian heritage is evident, and the material provided resistance against lightsaber strikes. The blade featured gore channels and vibro-insulator plates to protect the handle from vibrations.

History

Ap'lek, a Knight of Ren, employed this vibro weapon alongside his smoke canister, reflecting his preference for stealth tactics. In 35 ABY, during a battle within the Sith Citadel on Exegol, he engaged Ben Solo, the former leader of the Knights of Ren, with the axe. Ultimately, the axe was abandoned on the battlefield, having been dropped by its wielder as he fell to his death.
