Aradian pulse-lifters represented a type of atmospheric propulsion technology. These pulse-lifters, which emerged circa 15 ABY, offered another method of propulsion, differing from the more prevalent repulsorlifts. Due to the substantial shockwaves and sonic disturbances generated, operation in densely populated areas was not feasible. Their relative scarcity meant that the New Republic military took notice when they were implemented on Yevethan Aramadia-class thrustships.
