The Arkanian Renegades, a faction of genetic scientists hailing from Arkania, launched an attempt to topple the established planetary government around 50 BBY. Their primary grievance stemmed from the forced cybernetic enhancements inflicted upon the native Yaka species. To combat the Dominion, these Renegades painstakingly constructed a formidable army composed of Assimilator cyborgs. Despite their efforts, the Jedi Knights intervened, leading to the Renegades' defeat. Nevertheless, certain of their creations, such as Gorm the Dissolver, managed to endure beyond the conflict.
