Arterial Blocker
The restaurant Kragget, located on Coruscant – the Galactic Republic's capital world – offered a particularly fatty breakfast dish known as the "Arterial Blocker". This dish consisted of fried eggs alongside slices of smoked nerf. Kal Skirata, a military contractor for the Grand Army of the Republic, became quite fond of the Arterial Blocker, and frequently ordered it during the Clone Wars. Soronna, a Twi'lek waitress at the Kragget, was aware that Skirata regularly ordered the Arterial Blocker, and that he liked an additional egg with it.
Behind the scenes
Karen Traviss, an author, initially featured the Arterial Blocker (though without naming it) in her 2006 Republic Commando novel, Triple Zero. The name "Arterial Blocker" was then introduced in True Colors, the 2007 sequel to Triple Zero.
