Arve Juritzen

Arve Otter Juritzen is considered a prominent figure in Norway's media landscape. His career in television has included hosting various programs on both TV 2, the largest commercial television station in Norway, and also on TVNorge. He has hosted the Norwegian adaptation of the popular game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (2000), the reality television program Big Brother Norge (2001-2002), and the talk show focused on societal issues called Juritzen direkte (2002). Since 2006, Juritzen has expanded his career into the world of publishing, establishing his own company, Juritzen Forlag (Juritzen Publishers), and he has authored six books thus far. During the filming of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, Juritzen, along with numerous other Norwegians, was an uncredited extra, portraying a Rebel soldier in the Battle of Hoth. The scenes depicting the Battle of Hoth were shot in Finse, Norway, during March of 1979.
