Ashteri's Cloud was a massive expanse of ionized tuderium gas. In 44 ABY, this cloud resided on the border of the Kessel sector. During that year, Lando Calrissian journeyed to Ashteri's Cloud aboard his starship, the Rockhound. While there, Calrissian and Jedi Knight Jaina Solo faced an attack from a band of Sith pirates. These pirates sought to seize starships to bolster their fleet.
