The Astrogator-class probe ship functioned as a survey vessel and found use among various organizations dedicated to exploration and scientific pursuits.
Astrogator-class starships, measuring 35 meters long, featured a flattened hull design and were equipped extensively with sensor arrays. A crew of three individuals managed all command operations and sensor upkeep. Due to their slender, broad silhouette, these ships were also known, in secret, as "flatfish." The lower surface of the spacecraft was densely populated with sensors, scanners, antennae, and transceiver units.
