The clash known as the Attack on Centa Sonhan's sail barge unfolded on the sands of Tatooine amidst the broader conflict of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the revelation of his Bafforr tree grove's existence, Ingah Muloha, an officer of the Imperial forces, resolved to apprehend Momaw Nadon due to his perceived seditious actions. Subsequently, she reached out to Centa Sonhan, a criminal overlord sympathetic to the Empire, who then captured Nadon and imprisoned him within his sail barge.
A squad from the Rebel Alliance embarked on a mission to liberate Nadon, acquiring the sail barge's coordinates from Ladira, a Devaronian operating as an Information broker.
The Alliance launched their assault on the barge, eliminating several Imperials as well as Centa Sohan himself. Following this, they successfully secured Nadon's release. However, the sail barge was then swept into the trajectory of a severe gravel storm and the lair of a Krayt dragon. The Alliance team managed to flee with Nadon aboard their speeder, abandoning the sail barge to its fate of destruction by the combined forces of the storm and the dragon.
Lieutenant Harburik, the Imperial commander in the area, presumed that his troops and the sail barge had simply succumbed to the gravel storm, remaining unaware of the true events that had transpired.
