During the time of the Galactic Empire, Onyx Squadron, an Imperial squadron comprised of TIE/rb heavy starfighters, was assaulted by a band of marauders. These raiders aimed to purloin the cutting-edge technology integrated within the TIE fighters. These fighters were being piloted by Imperial cadets, among whom were Onyx Two Lyttan Dree and Onyx Nine Han Solo. As the assault unfolded, Solo rescued Dree following Onyx Two's separation from the squadron; however, Solo's craft collided with a Cantwell-class Arrestor Cruiser in the aftermath. As a consequence of his disobedience to the explicit commands of Flight Officer Ubbel amidst the conflict, Solo received a transfer to the Imperial Army.
