The Bakuran power station stood on the summit of a sleeping volcano, nestled within the mountainous region of Bakura.
The Imperial Remnant took control of the power station in 14 ABY, with the intention of causing its ruin through the detonation of explosive devices. During their initial seizure of the facility, the Imperials inflicted damage upon it, and they also deployed defensive measures such as autoturrets and E-Webs. Jaden Korr, a Jedi in training, successfully infiltrated the station, preventing its obliteration and encountering a powerplant droid in the process.
