Balisk was a Human male, belonging to the Knights of Zakuul. He resided on Zakuul with his spouse. In 3631 BBY, he was selected to be the new partner for the Knight known as Novo. This assignment came about because Novo's former partner, Tanek, perished while chasing the Outlander. Driven by a desire for vengeance for Tanek's demise, Novo sought to capture the Outlander. Consequently, Balisk and Novo located the Outlander at the Razor situated in Breaktown, attempting to apprehend the fugitive, but they were ultimately overcome.
Regardless of the player's decisions, Balisk is present during the encounter at the Razor. The Outlander has the option to eliminate Novo and Balisk to gain dark side points or choose to let them live for light side points. If they are allowed to live, Balisk expresses his gratitude to the Outlander by sending an encrypted message, thanking them for sparing his life and allowing him to return to his husband.
