Barnaba

Barnaba, situated in Barnaba Province, was a temperate, mountainous world. Within the Tapani sector, it served as a significant source of agricultural exports.

Description

Barnaba's surface was characterized by three primary continents alongside a multitude of sizable islands. Its terrain was predominantly composed of towering, rugged mountains, with the remaining landscape featuring plains and valleys. These regions, combined with the planet's humid atmosphere and balmy weather, proved to be productive, fostering agricultural endeavors. The peaks of the mountains were often hidden by clouds because of the very humid atmosphere.

As the seat of power for House Barnaba, Barnaba exhibited a more pronounced social hierarchy compared to other worlds in the Tapani sector. Aristocrats erected castles atop the mountains, wealthy commoners inhabited the slopes, and indentured laborers dwelled in the plains and valleys.

Barnaba lacked any major urban centers. Instead, its inhabitants were dispersed across numerous agricultural plantations, each encompassing residential quarters, work facilities, and support systems for the workforce. The planet's three spaceports, each situated on a different continent, were the only exceptions. The areas surrounding these spaceports developed with the addition of bars, inns, and eateries.

Barnaba's plantations yielded a surplus of agricultural goods, exceeding the needs of its own population. The resulting surplus was shipped across the Tapani sector, with Soterios being a primary destination.
