Bartender droids were a specific variety of droid found throughout the galaxy. For example, during the reign of the Galactic Empire, the C5 bartender droid model was known to be employed within the suites of the Alisandre Hotel located on the planet of Coruscant. Furthermore, droids of different models could be modified to serve as bartenders; examples include BU-11, who was employed at Ziro's Palace, another droid who worked as the bartender of a cantina on Lau, a former DUM-series pit droid who served as a bartender on the Suria space station, and another who worked at the droid cantina known as The Resistor on Plazir-15.
