A Battle Dreadnought class, also known as a Battle Dreadnought, denotes a specific categorization of warship within the Chiss Ascendancy. This classification was applied to non-Chiss starships of alien origin, characterized by dimensions somewhat less than those of a Chiss Nightdragon man-of-war, or approximately half its size. The Nikardun Battle Dreadnought represented one such class of warship fitting this description. Furthermore, the HopeBreaker, another vessel falling under the Battle Dreadnought designation, saw deployment against the Chiss forces by the aggressive Grysk species.
