Battle of Bimmisaari (28 ABY)

The forces of the New Republic launched a raid against Bimmisaari, which was under the control of the Yuuzhan Vong, during the year 28 ABY. This operation had the purpose of providing fresh soldiers with combat experience in a situation where the New Republic anticipated victory, so as to get them ready for a decisive major battle that would come later.
