A conflict occurred within the Tartaglia system in 12 ABY, during the Orinda campaign of the Galactic Civil War. Gilad Pellaeon, the new Head of State of the Imperial Remnant, seized six star systems situated along the Entralla Route to demonstrate power against the New Republic; in response, the New Republic deployed the Lusankya, an _Executor_-class Star Dreadnought, to oppose the Imperials. As Lusankya traveled towards the system, [Turr Phennir]'s 181st Imperial Fighter Group, supported by Imperial-class Star Destroyers, seized both Tartaglia and Hewett from the New Republic.
