A massive conflict occurred in the isolated Poln system, mainly in the space surrounding the binary planets Poln Major and Poln Minor. This battle pitted units of the Galactic Empire against the military might of the alien warlord [Nuso Esva]. It transpired eight months following the Battle of Yavin during the year 0 ABY. Under the command of Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader and Senior Captain Thrawn, the Imperial forces were victorious. They crushed the significant strength of Esva's Eastern Fleet, forcing the alien warlord to retreat from Imperial territories.
