Belgar Overlord, in conjunction with Roth Skimm, was an adventurer who came across an empty Core world roughly six centuries prior to the establishment of the Empire. These two pioneers decided to colonize the planet, naming it Belgaroth. Their ambitions to transform Belgaroth into a prosperous trade hub were prematurely ended when a disagreement during a card game resulted in their mutual demise.
