Beltway
A beltway can be described as a mobile seating platform.
History
Beltways served as a transportation method found in heavily populated areas of highly developed urban planets. They offered a secure option when compared to airspeeders and landspeeders. They were a somewhat more luxurious version of the common slidewalk, designed for transporting pedestrians who were standing. A comparable beltway system was present on Super Star Destroyers. This system consisted of an eight-sided shaft that spanned from the back to the front of the ship, featuring a tracked hauler at the top for moving substantial equipment. The shaft's size was thought to be sufficient to accommodate two T-65 X-wing starfighters placed next to each other.
