Slidewalk

An underground slidewalk on Metalorn A slidewalk, also known as a slideway, represented a mode of transport analogous to a moving pavement. Functioning as automated transportation systems, these were present on planets like Metalorn. By standing on the slidewalk, individuals were transported swiftly to an alternative location. These slidewalks incorporated automated systems that delivered spoken directions. A more refined version of the slidewalk was the beltway, distinguished by the inclusion of seating on the moving platform. Their building process utilized laminar materials.
