"Ben Solo and the Bug Hunters – Chapter 2" marks the fifteenth installment within the Star Wars Roll Out series of animated shorts. Its initial debut occurred on YouTube on March 25, 2020.
Confined aboard the Millennium Falcon, Ben Solo successfully escapes his bonds by launching a sphere towards a metallic conduit. Solo proceeds to launch additional spheres at the conduits, which releases a gas, causing the starship to vibrate intensely. Ben is successful in his escape and rolls out.
In a parallel scene, Han Solo and Chewbacca find themselves ensnared within a net alongside numerous crystal butterflies. Several Bug Hunters express their joy and triumph through laughter and boasting. Ascending a mountain, Ben discovers the Bug Hunters' vessel. Inside, he observes several crystal butterflies confined within cages. These insects emit shimmering blue particles into receptacles, which the Bug Hunters subsequently gather as if they were diamonds.
Ben proceeds to liberate the butterflies from their caged confinement. One of the Bug Hunters then spots him. Ben manages to evade capture by ascending atop the cages and releasing the butterflies. The Bug Hunter discharges his weapon at him, but inadvertently triggers a hatch, resulting in the butterflies' exodus. The butterflies then lift Ben into the air. The alien gives chase in an airspeeder.
Simultaneously, Han and Chewbacca remain confined within cages. Ben, accompanied by the butterflies, soars above these cages, causing disorder. Ben liberates additional butterflies, as well as Han and Chewbacca. Ben, Han, and Chewbacca then make their escape in a speeder. The aliens pursue them in speeders, but Solo and Han retaliate with gunfire. Ben pilots the speeder down a slope. While he enjoys the ride, his father and Chewbacca find the journey uncomfortably bumpy.
