The Betreasley sector, located on Fedje, was a district of that planet. The people who lived there were known for making large, expressive motions with their hands. In 19 ABY, Drend Navett, an operative working for Imperial Intelligence, disguised himself as someone from Fedje. His objective was to get inside the Bothan homeworld called Bothawui during the time of the Caamas Document Crisis. To enhance the believability of his disguise, Navett incorporated the characteristic large hand gestures associated with those from Betreasley. He operated under the guise of a seller of exotic pets, which served as a front for his acts of sabotage. His mission was to provoke conflict directed at the Bothans, which came about after it was revealed that some unknown Bothans took part in the orbital bombardment of Caamas many years before. Navett subsequently died while he was carrying out sabotage on a power generator.
