Billy Howle


Billy Howle, also known as William Walter D. Howle, was born on November 9, 1989. This British actor is known for his portrayal of Rey's father in the 2019 movie, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.

Biography

Born in Stoke-on-Trent, which is located in Staffordshire, Howle took on the role of James Warwick in the E4 TV show, Glue. Since then, he has been in The Sense of an Ending, playing the younger version of Jim Broadbent's character, and starred as Leonard Vole, the defendant in a murder trial, in the miniseries The Witness for the Prosecution.

Additionally, he was in the historical film Dunkirk, and acted alongside Saoirse Ronan in the 2017 drama On Chesil Beach, which is based on the novel by Ian McEwan. He is also featured in the film adaptation of Anton Chekhov's play, The Seagull, and the Netflix movie Outlaw King.

Howle also represented Prada for their S/S16 collection, with photos taken by Craig McDean.
