Black Squadron was a squadron of starfighters that served the Alliance to Restore the Republic. This Squadron of Black pilots successfully acquired Imperial schematics, but their lives were cut short by Darth Vader when he located them on Lokud 7.
Following their theft of the Imperial plans, Black Squadron's pilots journeyed to Lokud 7, intending to celebrate their victory at a nearby cantina. Upon their arrival, Tuki, the captain of the squadron, boasted to the bartender regarding their accomplishment. As they surrendered their weapons, the bartender observed the captain placing his comlink within his satchel, which he then secured alongside the other weaponry. Unbeknownst to the pilots, Darth Vader, accompanied by a squad of Imperial Stormtroopers, discovered the squadron's vessels and followed their trail to the cantina, where he proceeded to eliminate all present. The bartender, however, successfully fled with the captain's satchel, only to be intercepted by Vader, who reclaimed the stolen information.
