In the year 1 ABY, Trandoshan slavers belonging to the Blackscale Clan established a hunting encampment on Kashyyyk. This camp, comprised of a few rudimentary shelters and protected by heavily armed Blackscale Clan Trandoshans, was situated atop an elevated rock structure along the Webweaver Path section of the Rryatt Trail.
The Trandoshans employed long-range communication units to maintain contact with their clan, allowing them to communicate across the expansive, thick forests.
