Bladder-bugs, a species of hissing insect, made their home in the forests and canyons found on the planet called Akiva.
During her time spent on Kashyyyk, Norra Wexley, who was originally from Akiva, drew a comparison: the forests of Kashyyyk were quiet due to the destruction caused by the Galactic Empire, but the Canyon of Akar on her homeworld was filled with the noises of ateles, clever-birds, and the bladder-bugs.
