The Blade series represented a line of durable, though relatively unsophisticated, atmospheric and starfighting craft. These were manufactured by entities such as Tarrvin-on-Kallik located on Adumar. A key characteristic of the Blade series fighters was their armament: they possessed both forward-facing and rear-facing laser cannons. While primarily intended for use within an atmosphere, the majority of these fighters could be adapted for space operations with relative ease. Certain variations were even equipped with hyperdrives.
Every Blade model for which substantial information exists incorporated split tail configurations.
