"Berserkers without sight" represented genetically engineered duplicates of the Lugubraa species. These modified clones served as combatants within the ranks of the Leech Legion, a group also subjected to genetic alterations from their original form. During a time of internal conflict, the Crokes acquired these cloned warriors from the Kaminoans in an attempt to eradicate the aggressive Lugubraa, who had become widespread on their native planet. Ultimately, the purchased clones demonstrated a similar level of ferocity and destructiveness as their genetic predecessors, causing significant damage to the Croke population.
A significant amount of time passed before the blind berserkers and the Leech Legion were deployed in a conflict against Niorde. The Niordi, facing an invasion of their native world, implemented desperate strategies, transforming some of their reconnaissance units into biological armaments. Regrettably for the Niordi, by the time the experiment concluded and the remaining subjects were prepared for combat, their planet had already been conquered.
