A boasa represented a form of sculpture that originated from the planet of Alderaan. Following the Death Star's annihilation of the world, boasas became an uncommon sight throughout the galaxy. The Jenet crime organization referred to as the Invisible Shell came into possession of a group of ten boasas, showcasing them at the Pearl Island Casino located on Pavo Prime. New Republic Intelligence became aware of these sculptures and informed Leia Organa Solo, a surviving individual from Alderaan's destruction. She subsequently headed a group to Pavo Prime with the purpose of negotiating for the statues with Ludlo Lebauer, the head of the Invisible Shell.
