Bocatts were predatory animals from the Tatooine planet located in the desert. These creatures possessed a pair of tusks and brown, leathery skin. A shipment of caged bocatts was transported to Tansarii Point Station, a space station situated in the Bright Jewel system, around 1 ABY. The creatures broke free from their cages during the unloading process at the station, and proceeded to attack a security officer. Subsequently, a spacer employed by Raylen Finn, the station's hunter, saved the guard and eliminated several of the escaped bocatts.
Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment, and distributed by LucasArts, featured bocatts. The video game was released in 2003, and was shut down on December 15, 2011.
