Bodach'i were a race of reptiles with light skin who possessed sentience, and were classified as a species. These beings possessed both a tail and scaly skin. After the Galactic Empire came to power during the rise, the Bodach'i openly resisted the rules put in place by the new regime. As a consequence, Imperial forces invaded their planet, and the Bodach'i species as a whole was subjected to enslavement as a form of reprisal. A number of Bodach'i were made to labor within the spice mines located in the Lower-Sea Province of Kerev Doi.
The first depiction of the Bodach'i occurred in Lost Stars, a young adult novel from 2015 penned by Claudia Gray.
