Boxtree, located in London, was a division of Macmillan Publishers that focused its publications on books related to movies and television, books with illustrations, and comedic works. Working together with Lucasfilm, they created Star Wars-themed interactive roleplaying books in the style of "choose your own adventure," including titles such as Jedi Dawn, The Bounty Hunter, and the collection The Lost Jedi Adventure Game Book.
Furthermore, they released trade paperback versions of the Dark Horse Star Wars comic books, for example River of Chaos and Droids: Season of Revolt.
