The Boys of Corus were a group of mercenaries originating from the Corus system. Jaxxon, a member of the Lepi species, honed his skills in marksmanship while working with this organization. However, their mission to the Corporate Sector ended in betrayal, leading to the group's disintegration. Dafi, a H'nemthe and rival of Jaxxon, held Jaxxon responsible for the loss of his starship and a finger from each hand during the disastrous Corporate Sector operation, transforming their rivalry into intense animosity. This failed mission marked the end of the Boys of Corus, resulting in their disbandment and individual departures. Following his departure from the group, Jaxxon went back to Nar Shaddaa, where he started a career as a smuggler, eventually acquiring the Rabbit's Foot.
The phrase "boys of Corus" is a reference made by Pablo Hidalgo, the writer of "The Starhoppers of Aduba-3", to Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny is the cartoon character upon whom Jaxxon's character was modeled. The name is an allusion to the "Boys of the Chorus," a memorable line Bugs Bunny repeats in the Looney Tunes short film, What's Up, Doc?. In his autobiographical narrative, Bugs mentions several stage performances, only to reveal that he was consistently a chorus boy, appearing on stage solely to deliver the same lines: "Oh, we're the boys of the chorus / We hope you like our show / We know you're rooting for us / But now we have to go!"
