Brikal

The Path of the Open Hand utilized the brikal, a Dalna planet-dwelling arthropod with a blue shell, to produce the blue face paint worn by its members. The process involved grinding the brikal's shell, then combining it with chalk and a fragrant binder. The consumption of the arthropod's larvae could impart the same vivid blue color to other creatures, for instance, honey gliders.
