The diminutive, non-sentient honey glider was native to the world of Dalna. Possessing wing membranes, these creatures were capable of leaping and gliding through the air. Their vibrant blue coloration was a result of their consumption of blue brikal larvae. Subsequent to sharing porridge, one such honey glider formed an attachment to the human child Simi, remaining with him for several weeks, and moving between Simi and the other children of the Path of the Open Hand. The caretaker of those children, Marda Ro, viewed the bright-blue honey glider as a positive sign.
