Brosins, a race of Near-Humans, originated on the world of Brosi.
For hundreds of years, Brosins coexisted on their home planet alongside colonists from the Old Republic. The situation changed when Zinsian deposits were found. Subsequently, the Corporate Sector Authority started to forcibly relocate vast numbers of Brosins and "employ" the younger generation in hazardous Zinsian processing facilities. These actions spurred the formation of the Brosin Underground, which aimed to expel the CSA from Brosi through armed resistance.
