Sometime following the Battle of Endor, the New Republic took control of the world Basilisk from the Galactic Empire. Lieutenant Judder Page's Page's Commandos were sent to the planet by the New Republic High Command; there, they annihilated a shield generator that supplied power to cannons, positioned an electrified net across a hangar launch chute, and grounded a squadron of TIE fighters. Furthermore, they breached the heavily fortified airborne citadel of Imperial Governor Nistola, compelling him to yield. Subsequently, a New Republic invasion force, commanded by General Garret, arrived and successfully secured the capital without any combat.
