Cartouche

Cartouche The Rammahgon featured a cartouche, as shown in this image. Within the pages of the Rammahgon – one of the sacred Jedi texts – the cartouche appeared as a recurring design element. Its form resembled a cylinder, displaying the Protobesh word "COURAGE".

Behind the scenes

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary on its 53rd page, contains a note concerning the Rammahgon, and it references a "Protobesh cartouche containing the name 'Exegol'"; however, the symbols inscribed within the cartouche actually spell out "COURAGE".

In the real world, a cartouche is a decorative element, either an illustration or a carved piece of stone, that looks like a partially unrolled scroll, frequently adorned with inscriptions.
