Castle Pradeux

Pradeux Castle was a fortress situated on Prefsbelt IV, taking its name from Admiral Pers Pradeux of the Republic Navy. This structure, positioned in proximity to the Twelve Mounts, functioned as an element of the Prefsbelt Naval Academy.

During the era of the Galactic Empire and the subsequent reorganization of the Academy system, the castle's age-old stonework was overshadowed by the taller structures and towers comprising the Naval Academy. A passage stretching several kilometers connected Pradeux Castle to the Naval Crypt, which was centrally located within the Twelve Mounts range and served as the final resting place for Pers Pradeux. Annually, on the eve of their graduation from the Academy, naval Midshipmen would traverse this completely dark passage in silence to reach the Crypt, where they would each pledge their commitment to naval service.
