The Cenotaph of the Innocents stood as a monument on the planet Coruscant. It served to commemorate those individuals who died when the Sith Empire obliterated the Jedi Temple during the Sacking of Coruscant which took place in 3653 BBY.
This memorial was made up of asaari trees; a single young tree was planted to represent each person who perished. Over time, the memorial expanded, transforming into a full-fledged forest that included secluded grottoes and benches where visitors could sit, relax, and reflect.
