Champions of the Force, launched on June 6, 2006, represents the fifth expansion for the Star Wars Miniatures game produced by Wizards of the Coast. Leading up to its debut, it garnered attention for its unprecedented inclusion of lightsabers, boasting a total of 25 and surpassing the previous record of 22 held by Clone Strike. This set showcases characters spanning various eras and introduces two new factions to the game: Old Republic and Sith. Notably, the Yuuzhan Vong faction is absent from this particular set. The box's visual design is credited to Chris Trevas.
